On My Way

This artwork portrays a mushroom man on a journey to find a place he can call home in a magical world. The layers of paper in the artwork represent the obstacles he must overcome, such as loneliness, difficulty adapting, and feeling out of place. Despite the challenges, there is a sense of hope conveyed through the use of colors and whimsical imagery. The artwork celebrates the human spirit and the power of hope to persevere through difficult times.

“"I am new here" is a project that explores the process of finding home as an international student, or anyone who feels out of place in a new environment. It sheds light on the struggles and emotions that come with adapting to a new culture and aims to create a sense of community for those who have experienced similar challenges. Through my illustrations and artworks, I hope to initiate a dialogue around these issues and increase awareness and empathy towards those who feel out of place in a new environment. My goal is to create a deeper understanding and appreciation for diverse perspectives and experiences.”
