Before the Storm

In 2019, I moved into a small basement apartment with a roommate I met through a Kijiji Ad. I needed a space for four months because of school. During my stay, I struggled with the small space, my roommate was going through a difficult time as well as having some issues with the tenant who was renting the other side of the basement. I could also hear the landlord and his wife argue upstairs which wasn't pleasant at all. Although I didn't have the best time of my life, my roommate and my landlord were kind people, and overall the experience was interesting.
