Table or stool? Female or male? Based on the existing need of the LGTBQIA2S+ BIPOC communities, alternative education campaigns on gender diversity are required. Therefore, the proposal made up of 10 individual pieces has the potential to inform the need by understanding the metaphorical meaning of gender identity within multiculturalism, as well as developing standards for design through metaphors. For example; a chair with "masculine" characteristics but that feels like a "feminine" chair or vice versa. To achieve the metaphorical concept, three important features were used to represent the male and female gender: color, texture and sexual organs in an abstract way.The complete presentation of my work in PDF is attached below for more information.

“Canada is one of the most democratic countries in the world with laws that 'protect' LGBTQ2 + communities. However; Canada is a country of many countries and a society of many societies. Immigrants and refugees due to gender identity or sexual orientation face an unexpected new reality. The same dogmas, beliefs and extreme ideologies against gender identity are found in multicultural societies. It will be a long and complicated process for free democracies to create inclusion among minority groups to coexist.”
