Isolation over the past few years has cast a harmful shadow on individual well-being due to a lack of interaction with an ample built environment. Recognizing the impact of isolation, this project is aiming to foster beneficial interactions through a thoughtfully designed environment that can reintegrate individuals with nature, community, and themselves. This can create a modular space that nurtures and empowers individuals to thrive in harmonious unity with their surroundings.

“My project aims to design a Mixed-Use Building that goes beyond being a physical structure. It leverages biophilic and biomorphic design principles to cultivate a valuable design practice, fostering positive human connections. The goal is to encourage a sense of belonging, connectivity, and self-discovery within the built environment. The concept focuses on achieving a seamless connection and integration of nature, community, and personal space, fostering a harmonious environment for both residents and visitors. This conceptual framework draws inspiration from neurons, symbolizing dynamic and interconnected spaces that facilitate positive interactions and connectivity within the community while promoting personal space. The aim is not only to enhance the feeling of connection and care within the built environment but also for users to feel nurtured by both the surrounding environment and the people sharing the space.”
