“The second painting in a four part painting series, PURIFICATION OF A HAUNTED SOUL, delves into profound themes of transformation, liberation, and self-discovery. The central image of the figure with purple hair, whose back is opened up to reveal their ribs and blood being pulled out of them, is highly symbolic and creates a sense of interconnectivity between the physical and metaphysical worlds, as mirrored by the telephone wires in the background.This painting is a powerful representation of breaking away from one's past self, as depicted by the figure behind the glass wall. The painting's significance lies in its portrayal of the desire to help others overcome their struggles, by illustrating the process of escaping one's past.The painting's rich symbolism enables it to be interpreted on various levels. One can perceive it as an allegory of moving from darkness into light, as the figure sheds their past and moves towards a brighter future.
