Life and death are mutuals, in a relationship if you will, they are always together in a never ending cycle and nothing can keep them apart. A gas mask is a mask used to protect the wearer from inhaling airborne pollutants, toxic gases or anything that will affect the wearer's ability to live and breathe. The flowers are life, love, blossoming, and rebirth. The gas mask is a symbol of air, breathing and being protected from harm and the flowers intertwined are ‘death's love for life’ breaking through the barricade to get to each other. Even though we love life, it still takes our breath away.
