The Brief: Create an art poster design for the Toronto Raptors with the theme of “Community”.

“I chose to evoke some of the work that the organization does with youth in the city, particularly encouraging girls and women to get into the sport. Toronto is referenced through the iconic skyline and the t-shirts worn by the figures, as well as the “T.O.” in the slogan. A sense of dynamicism is created through the tilted horizon line and the sense of movement implied in the positioning of the figures. The text is incorporated into the design by fitting it in shapes that sit closely to the imagery in the composition.”
