Welcome Home

This animated illustration represents the magical experience of finding a home in an unfamiliar space, inspired by my own journey as an international student. As I met various people from different ethnicities, nationalities, colors, and personalities, I found a sense of belonging that is reflected in this artwork. The characters in the house windows represent the diverse community that welcomes the small character who has just arrived. The giant "me" hugging the house symbolizes the comfort and pride that come with finding a new home.
