Greek Mythology

Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects
***WARNING: This video contains flashing images which may cause discomfort and trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.***Although Greek mythologies may be glorified due to the heroism possessed by the Gods, Goddesses, and/or mythological figures through their triumph and victory, a lot of the stories feature disturbing or tragic events that may be lesser-known to the average individual.Greek mythologies surrounding the theme of forbidden love, betrayal, and infidelity often end in tragedies that are not limited to the Gods and Goddesses themselves. In fact, these tragedies commonly drag in unsuspecting mortal beings who end up suffering from the wrath of the Gods.Following the four Greek mythologies of Aphrodite, Pandora’s Box, Sirens, and Hades, the viewer is first introduced to the innocence of love, which later spirals into chaos and death. As a result, the motion graphic ends with the viewer being greeted by the God of the underworld, Hades, and his loyal hound, Cerberus. To learn more about this project, please visit the link below, or angelalam-design.com/Greek-Mythology
