A durational performance within a sculptural installation:

“erase + -ure: A durational performance that fuses the act of erasing with the ritual of a vigil. The actions throughout the performance are conducted in repetition — with endurance, from beginning to end. It is a ritual before an audience. I elongate myself from one side of the space to the other. The light in the room reflects vertically, casting a liquified mirror onto both walls. This vigil begins with illuminating candles. The audience's gaze is a surveillance to observe the subject's movements. The invasion of privacy and the exploitation of information by the creators of social networks are virtual memories that consist of everything dire. They are put online by projection or inside of something — the unconscious — by repression. ”
