A lot of my work explores the idea of land connection. But my families most trackable history is in Nova Scotia. Through this piece I was connecting with those roots as relatives remarked stories of seeing their parents tie nets for lobster traps, or picking wild berries on the roadsides. Memories sparked by observing me through the process of making
