A Book about personal view on the Epidemic.

“My professor supervised this work when I was a junior in college. The professor asked us to do a project in any form, but it had to be COVID-related. I decided to use the book as a medium to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on our lives. At the time, I had just returned to China from Canada. I experienced both Western and Eastern societies regarding how the community and government were dealing with the outbreak. I also revisited past significant epidemics, such as the Spanish pandemic, objectively in my book. Discussed the differences in technology and perceptions between then and now, reflecting the specificity of this epidemic.Another solid subjective point in the book is that I want people to be united in the epidemic rather than being suspicious of each other. At the beginning of the epidemic, China was repeatedly suspected of being the site of leaks, which led to different degrees of discrimination between Chinese and even Asians worldwide. As a Chinese graphic designer, I felt it was my duty to tell the world my point of view in what I thought was the most formal way possible, which is why I chose to layout and design the book myself rather than create a web page or publish a blog. I thought a printed paper book would be the most impactful way to deliver the message.”
