A Valuable Possession.The story of possession. The effects on the host, before, during, and after. What happened to the house? The family? The BOY?

“I wanted to focus on the environment in relation to a young boy getting scratched by a ghost and slowly losing himself. We always see the person and the devastating toll this possession would cause them, but we don't really see the space in which they are living in. It is a trapping nature in both the body of the boy and in this house. There is no comfort in the warmth of the fireplace, nor in the frames filled with joyful memories. The peeling wallpaper and sources of candlelight create haunting shadows dancing on the walls. Fixating on childhood stories, and encounters with Spectral Phenomena by Maria Fleischhack and Elmar Schenkel, I have created a chilling new series filled with ghost tales.
