Rua Acores

The name of this series "Rua açores" originated from a text on the street signs of the community of Little Portugal in Toronto. This set of documentary works documents the streets of Little Portugal and further represents the multicultural identity of the city of Toronto.

“In the summer of 2022, I went deep into the community of Little Portugal alone side the east side of Dundas Street. I was deeply fascinated by the vibrant Latin American heritage I found there as I went beyond the edge of Chinatown and into Little Portugal.This documentary series is an example of the community-based works I create on a regular basis, to be very honest, they do not serve any specific purposes rather than just training that I urge myself to do in order to keep my eyes open. ”
