“As I sat on the shores of Georgian Bay at Awenda Provincial Park, I was captivated by the colours and sounds of the water and shapes of the rocks. Through the process of painting my impressions of them, I can still recall the sensations I experienced that day. With the colours of the water fixed in my mind I experimented with translating them into the small tapestry that accompanies my plein air studies. ”
