Digital Kinetic typography Posters

This project aims to educate and inform those in the LGBTQ+/drag community about the ongoing issues of transphobia and misogyny in the community and in mainstream media. Through a series of kinetic typography posters, the project highlights the problem and seeks to raise awareness among those who consume or participate in drag as an art form.
“The project's direction covers the issue of discrimination within the drag and queer community as well as in the greater media and pop culture. The posters utilize a color palette and font that relates to existing media and themes within the drag community, while also establishing a connection between the content of the posters and their animation style. The intended audience includes those with firsthand experience with these issues, as well as those who need or want to be educated on this topic.”
