“Tranquil State” is an oil painting that encapsulates the peace found in art and nature during the confinement of COVID-19. It reflects my inner journey, where the act of painting becomes a liberating escape from physical constraints. The transformation of the figure’s head into a bouquet of flowers symbolizes the blossoming of hope and creativity amidst adversity. The flowing forms of blue water offers the tranquillity one seeks when the outside world is in turmoil.
