“Steel Pinkerton describes a historical case of union busting directed by Carnegie Steel. The Homestead steel mill was seized by the union workers who had armed themselves demanding better working conditions. Carnegie Steel employed the use of the Pinkerton detective agency to lead an attack at night. This resulted in a fierce skirmish that ended with several deaths.”
