The Parachute

A war bride got married to a Canadian soldier during WW2 in a dress made from her husband’s parachute.

““Love Conquers All” explores the paradox of love blooming during war. This series of images emphasize the visual poetry that comes forward as a result of placing elements of love and war in juxtaposition. Stories of love thriving in a time of war are visually interpreted to explore the resilience of love and the need for love to conquer hate to preserve our humanity.”
