Elegant - Tiara

The tiara, which is mounted on a round wire, consists of inconsistent directions of the circles; made of square wires, Swarovski zirconia, and fluid curves of a set of sterling silver sheets with line engraving and highly polished finishing.

“The tiara is inspired by the Auroras of the night sky, which I found impressed with its elegant movement; the fleeting and smoothness of the dancing lights give way to a strong sense of power from the calm nature. Solar winds carry out this aurora; having a significant force and penetrating Earth's magnetic field, but also landing its magnificent presence in a way that its shared beauty adds to mother nature in a new form.Connecting the form of Aurora with the topic of my thesis, I think that Aurora is alike many social and cultural barriers that go through in many women’s lives, those that may not have been able to be solved at some point and have remained stagnant, have only mitigated for change to many other women, and the slew of these norm breakthroughs were what has encouraged many others to be stronger and divine from before.”
