Live in Steel Forest

The theme of my assignment is "living in the steel forest".I want to express that nowadays, with the development ofthe city, there are more and more giant buildings, whichreplace the areas where they used to live. Everyone runsfor money and time. Although there is a close physicaldistance between strangers, their hearts are far away.People are trapped in the cold steel skyscrapers. I want toexpress the pressure of modern architectures and people'ssense of distance. At the same time, there is also thepressure brought by the development of urban science andtechnology, such as the ubiquitous cameras. The generaltone is cold and stressful. I think black-and-white photos canbetter express this idea, because cities without color will lookcolder and have a depression atmosphere that people livingunder it.At first, I planned to shoot all the skyscrapers, but in theprocess, I found that it would make the photographyrelatively repetitive, so I added some other photos about thecity to show the depressing atmosphere I wanted to express.
