This publication talks about the story of indigo rebellion and informs the viewers about the sociopolitical connotation of indigo.

“Indigo as a color has political and social connotations as the color has close relation to various cultures history. The symbolist element of the indigo serves as the symbol of resistance and unity against British colonial power. This rich blue hued color not only has a rich history of cultural heritage but also is a symbol of a country’s identity.”
