Cheese

Gouda and cheddar and brie, oh my! Cheese is a series of soft sculpture plush cheeses made from a plethora of different textiles combined with a variety of embroidery techniques. Individually, they all have a chibi, squishy style, but when viewed together on a charcuterie board, camouflaged by real fruits and nuts, they suddenly become convincing at first glance. Cheese is also my idolization of a food I cannot consume without extreme pain – lactose intolerance is the bane of my existence.
