SenseSpeak

SenseSpeak is a multi-functional device designed to address the challenges of nonverbal communication in social interactions. SenseSpeak incorporates visual, audio, and haptic components to provide users with a personalized and inclusive communication experience. By utilizing sensory feedback and gesture recognition, the device can identify and interpret nonverbal cues, such as facial expressions and body language, to enhance communication and foster connection between individuals.The audio and haptic feedback can help those who are blind or have limited visual abilities to understand nonverbal cues, while the online component can display detected gestures during virtual meetings (such as Zoom or Teams), making it easier for users to engage in remote communication. Moreover, the online component of SenseSpeak can translate ASL in real-time, providing a seamless and accessible communication experience for ASL users and non-users alike.
