These streetlights represent a guide for those who are lost, and face these struggles as queer individuals who constantly fight for a voice. Exploring mediums of audio, film, and print that include self-explorations of my own drag identity and experiences since my arrival to the city, in contrast with others who perform this craft - resulting in discussions of queer identities, stories, and experiences that shine light on the importance of drag and expression within our community.

“Fighting the Brightest Streetlights is where design and performance meet - explorations of queer identity and self-reflection through the art of drag and performance. Showcasing thoughts of self-identification through manufactured and self-inflicted designs, in result of a journey of discovery and that comfort we strive in public spaces beyond "night life". Identity is expressed - along with ideologies and histories of drag and LGBTQ+ cultures that are significant to the community in Toronto.
