Part of my final thesis body of work, “You’re Like Water, I’m Like Glue.”

“Placed underneath the skylights, ‘I Felt Your Shape’ mirrors its contextual placement just as ‘Nerve, Nerves (teary-eyed boy)’ mirrors the viewer. Together, they simulate both the room and the looker.Through ‘Nerve, Nerves (teary-eyed boy)’s outward gaze, the figure almost exists more in ‘I Felt Your Shape’ than in the painting it’s seen through.(refer to installation view to see the two's relationship)”
