An observation painting of an overhead point of view of sliced grapefruit against a reflective, colourful background. This painting explores the textures and colours of fresh fruit.

“This painting presents the fruit with freshness and vitality. Even though the slices of grapefruit are fresh, the fruit has been segmented and is no longer whole. The slices are also laid out in a way that suggests they are being prepped, prepared for something.”
