Alternate Reality Childhood

From "The Ghost of a Moment That Was" series. After flipping through hundreds of old family photos, I noticed the colours red, yellow and lavender recurring in many of them. Using just these three colours to capture an image of my brother and I in our youth, a seemingly ordinary scene, becomes a strange and dream-like one.

“In my recent work, I reflect on my childhood as I contemplate the person I am today. I am interested in the idea of manipulating old photographs; I didn’t capture the original images, but instead expose the ghost of a moment that was.”
