As Apple is taking bigger steps to reach 100% usage of renewable energy sourced for all Apple facilities, we value every small steps that our users take. This feature enables users to achieve safer and sustainable choices in every day. To achieve our daily goals to make a healthier world as individuals, you don’t need to understand every detail of how carbon footprint works, ecological jargon, or memorize a recycling guideline. So, don’t think, we’ll do it for you! We provide a collaborative platform for users to achieve actions through informatic AR technology. ‘Earth’ incentivizes your everyday sustainable behavior routines for environmental sustainability. We’re here to incentivize your everyday behaviour for environmental sustainability.

“In this product, we will be recreating the post-purchase behavior into a sustainable behavior space. If you’re not sure what it's about, here’s an example, Let’s say you’ve recently purchased one of Apple products and you’re happy to have a new phone then the question is, what happens with the waste after going through the unboxing experience? or, you bought yourself a nice lunch in a takeout box and you finished your food then what would you do with it? would you recycle it or is it just a regular waste?In that hesitation moment, that’s where ‘Earth’ comes in. *What if someone could directly tell you what to do with your waste within seconds? *What if something can incentivize your recycling behavior to trigger your next move? *What if something could visualize the impact you’ve just made?After exploring the questions, we had the goal that we wanted this project to live in individuals' every day, and influence how users behave. We believe that the impact of individuals enables this project to grow from a small pod to a larger group to create a bigger impact on the environment. In order to do that, we decided to start with small steps. Because we value your green actions even the smallest actions your take day by day, we’re here to incentivize everyday sustainable behavior for our environment through our AR app called ‘Earth’. And, we want to help to minimize your hesitation and make a quick and automatic decision through our product.
