Backlash is my first animated 2D short film, developed over seven months. Created using Storyboard Pro, Toon Boom Harmony, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Procreate. The film explores the way we try to run away from our own emotions and how often we put on a mask to keep moving forward.

“Backlash explores how suppressed emotions eventually react and strike back in destructive ways. This theme connects closely with my creative practice, as I am interested in how people manage internal pain while trying to maintain a calm exterior. The film begins with a quiet emotional moment that quickly escalates into a crisis, reflecting how small, ignored feelings can grow into something uncontrollable.”
