Probabilistic fields

Digital Media
2021
a real-time piece that somewhat simulates the behaviour of quantum particles arising from a field.

“According to the most tested theory of matter and energy, all that really 'exists' in our universe are 'fields', these fields are actually mathematical values attached to all points in space, these values are not fixed and are constantly fluctuating to all possible values, all the particles we see and are made up of (electrons, photons, quarks, etc.) are nothing but significant vibrations of these fields. Vibration in one field can distort and cause vibrations in other fields, electron can cause a vibration in the electromagnetic field and mass can cause vibrations in the gravitational field(spacetime). While the visuals I made above do not exactly reflect the complex multidimensional fields of reality, the particles are generated using the same logic, there are 2 fields, you can see the fluctuations of one field(at the boundaries of the square) creating these emergent particles. These particles act like electrons and take up real space. You know two same particles are interacting when they meet and repel each other. You know a particle and an anti-particle are interacting when they meet and then annihilate(disappear) each other. The bigger particles are unstable and quickly decay into smaller particles. There is another field forming a grid-like structure that you can see getting distorted due the presence of the particles, this field acts a little like the electromagnetic field and cause the attraction and repulsion force experienced by the particles.”
