The spirit/essence of a woman breaking from historic forms of ideal feminine beauty, that has been perceived and sculpted by the male gaze.
“This piece focuses on the freedom of her raw spirit/essence/soul outside the existence of her physical, superficial body/vessel. The feeling of being “more-than” or “just-viewed as” an object. Breaking the conceptional view of these “ideal” figures of femininity that is often sexualized and racialized. ”
