Interior Design

As the way of communication developed, cultural integration becomes an unavoidable trend. Thus, Stereotyping needs to disappear for a better understanding of cultural appreciation. In cities like Toronto which have diverse cultures and rich immigration groups, culture shock becomes inevitable. The culture community center, therefore, can play a very important role by supporting both the Asian communities as well as the original Toronto community. The concept of the design is inclusion. The proposed space will become a place for people to experience culture from an objective perspective, so as to avoid or eliminate the prejudice caused by misleading information. And creating an open and equal environment that helps people build social connections. Amorphic shape, circular flow, and transparent wall nature are the key features in this design to help to shape a place for people to gather together. The site of this project was selected because of the idea that to create new stories in the old building. And hope can not only bring new cultural viewpoints to the visitors of the building but also bring metamorphosis to the historic building.
