Qing Shen

The relationship between humans and other living things in nature has always been worth exploring and thinking about. Although the current society has promulgated relevant laws for animal protection, there are always cases of contempt or cruelty to animals. The reason is that there is a long distance between the constraints of the law and ordinary people. In this case, people's inner beliefs are more individually binding than laws. Therefore, I explore Qing Shen culture and try to make people re-examine the equal treatment of animal life by means of religious constraints. The Qing Shen culture originally belonged to a branch of shamanism and is one of the traditional cultural characteristics of Northeast China. This cultural belief is based on animism, with respect for natural creatures. In this project, I try to show the audience the unique characteristics of the Chinese Northeast Qing Shen culture through multimedia. At the same time, the spiritual core of animism is passed on to a social individual in the way of interactive design, so as to obtain respect and equal treatment of animals.
