Staircase Signage

My idea is to showcase the long distance between 4th floor and 5th floor of Yellow Staircase of OCAD by altering the stair sign. Walking from 4th floor to 5th floor is extremely long because of the building structure. This is a shared experience among Ocad students whom I hope the sign resonate with and relate to. At the same time, my design make the sign more “accurate” and add an extra level of information. This may be helpful to the visitors as they may not be aware of this situation.
