“I was born in a small town on the mountain. Even though I was born as a Thai citizen, speak fluent Thai, the community I was in were majority of Chinese immigrate that moved here several decades ago, including my grandmother. When I think of Thailand, these were my memories and what defines my identity. Now that I have the privilege to study abroad and be far away from home, I learned to never take these moments for granted. ”
