They're Watching

The story of a girl's family hiding another family during WW2 in Greece. The son of the family in hiding fell in love with the daughter of the family that took care of them, eventually getting married after the war. They were able to feed both families using the vegetables they grew in their flower garden.

““Love Conquers All” explores the paradox of love blooming during war. This series of images emphasize the visual poetry that comes forward as a result of placing elements of love and war in juxtaposition. Stories of love thriving in a time of war are visually interpreted to explore the resilience of love and the need for love to conquer hate to preserve our humanity.”
