text
What happens when planning ahead versus being guided by a bodily impulse to action? Art-making, creative process, and inspiration in terms of questions concerning freedom and choice are investigated in this experimental-critical text. I propose two strains of activity, which are not necessarily meant to be mutually exclusive categories, but rather certain modes or 'styles' of relating which open up different possibilities. An awareness of the possibility to transition between and within these different styles may be of benefit to those engaged in creative pursuits.
