Sensitive World - 03 Empathy

Brooch with empathy theme

“I have a strong ability to empathize as a highly sensitive person. I can easily empathize with others and feel their emotions, thus being affected ourselves. The brooch is worn on the body where the heart is, and I used the structural elements of the expanding and flowing blood vessels to visualize the physical changes that occur during empathy. The overall shape of the brooch and the distribution of the blood vessels are based on a cluster structure. Blood vessels echoes my goal of displaying highly sensitive characteristics based on self-defence.”
