Messenger pigeons have been used for thousands of years to deliver messages from one place to another. Some of their uses include delivering messages between homes, and during war to bring messages back and forth from soldiers. Pigeons have impeccable spatial memory, and have historically travelled hundreds of miles to deliver messages.
