Automatic Biological Life

When going through isolation, I started an exchange through social media where I asked volunteers to do virtual sittings for me. They sent a picture they liked of themselves, explained to me how they see themselves, and we went through the creative process ´together´ often editing the painting through commentary. The subjects often narrated what memories they had when they looked at this image, giving this series a nostalgic feel.This is a painting of Sofía
