A fantasy style piece focusing on jewelry, fine details and glitter.

“Shimmering Waves and Glittering Diamonds explores the intricate beauty found in fantasy outfits. Working on a smaller scale than usual, allowed the opportunity to delve deeply into the minutiae of the composition. The use of mixed media allowed for the artful layering and blending of various textures and hues, resulting in a visually rich and dynamic piece. The figure is cropped, thereby directing the viewer's attention exclusively to her elaborate and fantastical ensemble. Every facet of the outfit has been meticulously rendered, from the complex beadwork to the delicate lace accents. Notably, jewelry is employed to great effect in the painting, with each piece thoughtfully crafted to complement the outfit and imbue it with a touch of glamour and sophistication.An exceptional aspect of the painting is the clever use of glitter glue. This technique imbues the work with a beguiling holographic feel, with the glitter catching the light and shimmering as the viewer moves about the piece. This effect generates an additional layer of dimensionality and opulence to the painting, lending it an animated and luminous quality that evokes a sense of movement and light.”
