An Unfortunate Lover

"Aashiq na-muraad," meaning "An Unfortunate Lover," draws inspiration from the character design aesthetics found in Western superhero media. It delves into themes of love, relationships, and heartbreak—topics often regarded as taboo in South Asian culture despite their universal relevance to the human experience.This piece serves as a poignant exploration of the journey towards self-discovery following heartbreak. It encapsulates the longing for change, the acceptance of reality, and the subsequent empowerment gained through resilience. Infused with elements of desi culture, it seeks to forge relatable connections, bridging cultural divides and fostering empathy among diverse audiences.
