“An endangered species in the current Anthropocene, namely the Amazon Hyacinth Macaw, is visually synthesized with its decaying natural habitat, the burning Amazon Rainforest. This painting seeks to reveal the strong interdependence of these two biological systems (a species of fauna and its habitat), a relationship that is under threat in this age of climate crisis and destruction.”
