Dogon + Tibet

Interior Design
2022
With this interior design, we will combine the Dogon and Tibetan cultures to create a comfortable and appropriate living space for guests from both cultures. Due to the difference in latitude, there are significant differences in the construction and design of the architecture between the Dogon and Tibetan civilizations, and their national cultures are very distinct due to the influence of the surrounding environment (culture). However, there are still commonalities between the two cultures, and we combine these commonalities with the rich and scarce contents of both cultures to create a space with cultural depth. In this space, art, music, and dance will be important design languages; this will result in a more inclusive and joyful space. Elements from both ethnic cultures will be expressed in a light and dark relationship, meaning that the inconspicuous and visible elements from both cultures will be combined to form new elements and achieve a harmonious spatial relationship.
