I dream about the day I can give all of myself to the earth.

This painting, displayed on the floor, is a deep dive into an irrational fear of mushrooms and root growths. The bodily shape is life-sized, and the action of laying on it is almost meditative.

“I am laying in the center of a bed of leaves, mushrooms, and flowers. They overtake me slowly. I wait. But I don’t die. I am reanimated through their growth from everything I feed them.”
