The artist incorporates traditional alpona patterns from Bengali handmade embroidered quilt and combine them with ancient terracotta dolls and folk handmade dolls to showcase the cultural divergence and unity of Bangladesh’s history and culture.In the end it all comes together as a piece to honour every Sultana (female version of Sultan) who dreams.
