Younger people see Yahoo as outdated and irrelevant. Gen Z values authentic connections but often feels uneasy in face-to-face conversations. To create a comfortable space for discussing mental health, Yahoo is created an installation at university campuses, parks, and coffee shops, with dividers to conceal faces and cue cards to guide discussions. Additionally, Yahoo will improve access to mental health resources by adding a dedicated tab on its homepage, offering wellness checks, and providing curated mental health messages to users every month.
