Periphery as core

核心外圍就是內圍。The periphery is the core. In Taoism, the body is seen as both microcosm and macrocosm; it exists within a larger universe while simultaneously being a tiny universe itself. In my other pieces I take on the role as the dominant figure of the piece in which other objects revolve around. In “Periphery as core”, I step back to assume the background, accepting my insignificance and minuscule size within sublime landscapes and let them create me. They become metaphors for passing time and experiences, and the way I morph into these environments.
