Yearbook Project (poster series)

These posters represent my first, second and third year at OCAD. I used projects that I completed in those years to create each poster.First year: I did not know what graphic design and typography were, and I had no idea what I was doing in class, but I enjoyed learning new things. The bold, bright colours represent the idea of a fresh new start, and the excitement I felt. I did not enjoy doing process work for each assignment, but I learned that it's a very important part for every design project. Second year: I learned so much about typography! And of course, the importance of grids!! For this poster I added some of the type spreads that I did for my first typography booklet, and some graphics that I did from my design class.Third year: Third year was kind of a blur for me, since I spent the whole year doing online school, but the most memorable part was my experimental typography class and I enjoyed experimenting with type so so much, so I included some of my favourite works in this poster.
